About XABITAT

Why Do everyday items have to be boring? Why does form always have to come from a compromise of function? Why can’t innovation and ergonomics be a part of designing products that have existed for decades? These were the questions that have always shaped us as a brand. We wanted to start with questions rather than having answers to everyday problems. We wanted to doubt the assumption that certain things are done certain ways merely because that's how it has been done for a long time , even though there are efficient ways of doing them that science has shown us. We want to bring innovation and design to products that have existed for decades or centuries and look at them from a new angle, from a new perspective. Innovation and product design has been what drives me since I was a child. I had a solitary childhood and was always considered the oddball. A preoccupied mind that doesn’t fit with the normal.I didn’t have many friends but, It never troubled me. Products were my friends. I saw them in a light that they were not seen before. Improving them, I thought, was my sole life’s motive. It was fun working on something, and sole crushing when I didn’t have a problem to fix. It took some amazing people in my life to make me hear as well. To hear what people needed. To hear what they were having trouble with, but accepted half heartedly since that was the norm, the way it has always been done. Combining their misery with my love for product development and creating solutions that make people’s life easier, has given me a satisfaction unlike no other. If I could make a product that costs me my entire fortune but would help one person live a better life, I would.” - Founder, Xabitat
